“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7
Here at Watters Road we are excited about the opportunity to update our Worship facility to better serve our congregation and our community. We have entitled our Building effort the ‘Nehemiah Project’, after the faithful Israelite who saw his home city of Jerusalem in desperate need of repair and revitalization. When Nehemiah saw the need, he put his faith in God’s ability to provide and prayerfully began to make plans to restore his city.
We are following in his footsteps as we consider how to provide a new facility to replace one that has faithfully serviced our family for well over 40 years. With God’s help and guidance, we will not only build the new Worship Center, but also refurbish our existing Auditorium to serve out its life as a Fellowship Hall. We also plan to update our two existing Annexes, which currently house many of our classrooms.
We encourage all to faithfully and cheerfully contribute to help us achieve this goal to provide facilities that will help us meet the needs of the Kingdom here in Pasadena.
